The first ballot for tickets to the 2010 Fifa World Cup in South Africa is over and the results are in, the BetBBQ crew will be biggin it up in full force with match tickets CONFIRMED 100%. First thing first, Australia has not compeltely qualified but currently are one point away from guaranteed entry. We are all very excited here at BetBBQ and can’t wait to arrive in South Africa and rock it like we did Germany!
In simple terms, we have the holy grail of all world cup tickets, as regardless of Australia’s performance we continue to watch every game to the final. So for example if Australia lose to Germany in the Round of 16 then we will go watch the Germany V Greece game in the quarter finals, and so on. This will be a great experience and we already have world cup fifa running through our veins!

After a weekend for the favourites BETBBQ has the new and updated premiership odds for our beloved AFL. The sainters have pressed on with another victory, the cats were ever consistent but the big talking points were Carlton and the Hawks.
The blues smashed the pies and really showed they are improving each game, even without Fevola registering a single score. Yes 0.0 he didnt get a point on the scoreboard, first time since 2002 that the blues had won without Fev scoring!
The hawks held off a strong finishing Freo and really were very lucky to win, with so many chances going begging! Freemantle couldnt convert when it mattered!

The tradiontal MCG showdown between Collingwood and Essendon couldbe moved to Sydney, according to AFL Cheif Executive Andrew Demetriou. It is now official, Irish bookmaker paddy power will acquire 51% of Matthew Tripp’s Sportsbet.com.au over the next three years, with the option to purchase the remaining 49% over 2012,13,14. Sportsbet.com.au have also been linked with ” Canbet.com.au and Iasbet.com.au” with a 20% stake and a look to acquire a larger stake.
